NPR vs. Music

Since starting school, I have had one or two teachers ask if there were people in the classroom that listened to NPR. It isn't that I don't want to listen to insights about gov't, politics, arts, or whatever...it is that I like music WAY too much! I tried listening the other day and it just wasn't the same going down the freeway jamming to talk radio. Oh heavens, what do I do? So instead, I settled for listening to Remy Zero, Prophecy on repeat until I got to my destination. Perfect freeway travel music.

Give it a listen....you will know what I mean. NPR is just going to have to wait until people stop making great music.

There aren't great radio stations here so I have given into NPR myself while running errands. But, I know what you mean-it's just not the same.

Anyway, thanks for calling the other day! We were flying all day and life has been crazy while I've been trying to catch up since we got home. So, thanks for the congratulations. We're excited!

I started listening to NPR oh, five or six years ago, and although I was once the music officianato girl, I am now a hardcore NPR girl. Seriously, I'd much rather listen to it than just about anything else. Just wait, it may creep up on you too.
