Turning My Papers in to the MTC

That's right everyone, I am ready to turn my papers in to the MTC. Marriage Training Center, here I come.

Every year for conference, I hope that one of the apostles says something like: beginning in October 2008, we will start an inspired program lining up all single people over the age of 25 in the church with their future spouses, to whom they will be married and sealed for time and all eternity. All those over the age of 25 will be set up according to spiritual capacity, common interests and how nice you look together in a picture.

But alas, I know that the Lord would never take away my agency. So, I am thinking that I should just let my parents decide. They have already nominated several men for me to marry in my life that would make an incredible spouse. Most are now married....I was a slacker on that and take full responsibility. The fact of the matter is that my amazing mom called me on the phone yesterday and we got online to look at worthy boys in the San Diego area. I personally think she wants me to marry a California dude so that I can live closer. I am not opposed.

So now, I am calling all friends who love playing match maker to the table. I am ready to turn my papers in to the Marriage Training Center and need your help. Let's get our black books out people and start this process. There is this big world full of possibilities and...WORLD, I am ready! Let the dating begin!!!

So...you want to go on a mission? Or you want to date?? I guess I'm confused...hahaha I really enjoyed this post. I was laughing through a lot of it!
You know..about 75% of my ward met their significant others ON their missions...theres a neat little statistic for you. If you are planning on going on a mission?! What??? Okay so I guess I didn't pick up on sarcasm if you really aren't turning in your papers..because the MTC really is a marriage training center if you look at it in a wide perspective. haha okay lindsey, sorry. I'm a blonde what can I say.
I love ya! The guy for you needs to be awesome. I would love to set you up with some of Brett's buddies. But I just don't think they are good enough for you! :0)

Okay, I actually do have someone in mind. He currently resides here, but is moving to LA (doing his residency at UCLA in Anesthesiology) this summer. His sister lives in the avenues however, and he visits pretty often. He's pretty awesome, and loves outdoor activities. Do you want me to send you a fake personal ad for him? Just kidding. Seriously though, if you happen to come to Vegas anytime in the next couple of months, let me know and I'll gladly hook you up. He's Zeke's Chinese godfather (as per my facebook wall), and he's on my facebook list of friends so you can check him out.

I love you Lindsey! I will keep my eyes open, you are definitely a catch. Hang in there, I know how hard it is to accept things on the Lord's time and not ours. But I promise it will be worth the wait!
