Letters from my missionary and travel size lotion

Ah, yes...my missionary...Elder Blau! What a rockin babe! I never thought he would write home as much. Seriously, it is so cool to see what he is doing and read all about his adventures with the African people. His personality is so cute. He wrote home all these words and what they mean. He thinks the language difference is pretty cool. I think my favorite word is poofy: which means fart. HAH! That is totally our family humor....anyway, he is doing great in the mission field and just sent us a whole bunch of pictures. He is goofing off in pretty much every one of them...which is so him and he better not change. Anyway, I think he is getting to the point where he realizes that not everyone is ready to hear about the gospel. It is hard to know what to say to him. How much encouragement is too much...you know? Anyway, I know that he is striving to do what is right. Never has it really hit me that when I pray or when people pray for the missionaries of the church that they are talking about all these incredible men in my life. It resonates so much more with me know that I have a missionary out in the field. Horrah for Israel, Elder!

Besides hearing from my cute missionary, I am going out of town for a week and a half to GREECE!! I know, I know....crazy! I have been planning this trip since May and haven't really told very many people...because I feel like I am bragging...well, not anymore....I am driven by pure excitement! I leave tomorrow at 10 in the morning with my BFF Stephanie. Am I packed? Well, my swim suit is! That is always the first thing I pack....

My question is: do they have travel size sunscreen? I am going shopping for all the little extras this evening and need to pick up all the travel size bottles and what not because I am not checking luggage. Does anyone know who might carry travel size...and why in the world businesses have not caught on to the 3 oz rule? Seriously. Come on Coppertone Babies SPF 30, get the picture already!

Hi, I came across your blog post and have an answer for your travel-size question. I work for a company called Minimus.biz that specializes in travel-sized items. We have a good selection of sunscreens. You can take a look at them at http://www.minimus.biz. Hope you have a great trip!

Have fun in Greece!! I've always wanted to go there. You and Stephanie will have a blast! Rusty and I got very good at packing and found everything travel size. They actually allow 3.4 oz (100 ml) and we have to make sure to take the extra .4 oz of sunscreen. My favorite is the faces kind that is oil free. I usually take an extra neutragena 45spf face cream too. But I'm a whitie! Have fun!

Hey is your sister expecting? Your dad is the greatest he wrote the best letter to Jody, Tara and I. It was so good and very much needed to here the good memories of mom. I'm glad that some people can remember her for her good qualities and not just her mistakes. Tell your brother Hi and that we love him.
Oh ya we miss & love you too! You need to come and visit and see our new little boy.

Oh my goodness, in Greece, HOW EXCITING!!!! I am so envious! Can't wait to hear how it was!

Even though it's too late, Yes they do make travel size lotion, I used it all the time for the girls, and loved the compact size. But silly girl you can go to Target and purchase empty travel size containers and then fill them........

Solomon fam: Oh...and I did baby! Thanks.

Sandra: Thanks for the info! That is one great site.

Tara: Oh, I sure will tell the Elda 'holla' from his couz. I love them too...thanks babe.

Rusty & Kelsi: Oh, yes...we realized we probably could have gotten away with 3.6 and been fine. You know, it was just a mini-freak out I had since I never check in the liquids! Ooh, and I found oil free Coppertone Babies SPF 30...it rocked! You aren't too white ;)

Nield Fam: No, Jamie is not expecting...silly! WE always tease her and it has gotten to the point that she is MAD when we tease her, so we have had to cut it out. We sure love your fam and your mom. She was a wonderful woman. I totally need to come and see this new Nield!! FER SHURE.

Cory: Oh, I know...I was just griping because I didn't go to the store before writing the post. I am just so silly!! BUT...I was never really keen on the buying the travel size containers....they always leak. Good thing they all have to be in zip-locs, otherwise...that could be trouble.
